| Bloodborne Pathogens |
The updated MEDIC FIRST AID® Bloodborne Pathogens
program is designed to train employees who have a significant health risk of
occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious bodily fluids
and materials. This training will help employees satisfy training requirements
put forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
To reduce the risks of transmission of bloodborne pathogen diseases, this program
will explain how bloodborne diseases are transmitted, procedures you and your company
can implement to minimize your risk of exposure, and what to do if you suspect you
have become exposed to a bloodborne pathogen.
The MEDIC FIRST AID® Bloodborne Pathogens program offers the same easy-learning, low-stress class environment
you expect from all MEDIC FIRST AID® training programs. Excellent video presentations are
supported by quality printed student materials and an easy-to-use Facilitator Guide.
